MY REVIEW: This is a truly unique blog. Each post (well nearly all of them) are a “thank you” to someone in one of the blogger’s lives that has touched them or done something for them. The post is not only the note of thanks, but the story behind the note, the reason, and the result and effect it had on their life. It is touching and funny. They open themselves up, revealing things most of us would rather keep hidden. Perhaps if more of us would stop and take time to thank that person who did some thing, that may have seemed little at the time, but changed our lives tremendously.
Sometimes they just thank family members for a simple thing they did today that made their lives better. It makes one stop and think how inter-connected we are.
Now, not all these people were people they knew nor or the gifts things they necessarily needed. It was a good idea that went, well, random, like thanking Lori Singer of the movie Footloose, who inspired Karin to develop an obsession for red cowboy boots. But hey, I like red cowboy boots also. Maybe I should send a thank you note to my inspiration . . . nah, I won’t go there.
The blog is updated usually twice daily.
