I've noticed that about 1 in 10 blog feeds at Kindle do not share the entire entry, but just the first bit of it. Some of them give you the option to "click more", others don't, all you get is a paragraph and that's it.
I asked a techno-head blogger to explain why this happens and how to fix it, and she put together a video that explains what you need to do.
(If you don't have a Kindle and so can't check that your blog feeds probably, you can still verify that it is working by checking the settings.)
Depending on how you send you blog feed to the Kindle, check the settings - as described in the video - to make sure that "full article" rather than "summary" is selected.
(The author also offers web writing services, so check that out if you're a mind too: http://www.guerreroink.com/2010/07/26/how-to-fix-your-blog-syndication-on-kindle-video/)
Here's an explanation that a Kindle rep provided at the Kindle forums, specifically for those who use Feedburner. (It's in the video above, but since my Kindle subscribers can't watch it, you need text!) I do suggest that you go to the above website and watch the video there, if you're having problems and aren't using feedburner. She explains how to fix that, too.
1. Log into feedburner.com
2. Click on the feed title in the "Feed Title" list
3. In the page that comes up, click on "Optimize" tab
4. In the left panel, "Summary Burner" will be listed as the last option. Check if there is a tick mark beside it.
5. If so, click on summary burner option. In the right panel, there will be a "deactivate" button. Clicking on that will turn off summary only feed option.

440 Blogs Reviewed Here to Date!
Since I began the Kindle Blog Report several months ago, I (and my other reviewer, Ann Currie) have reviewed 440 blogs (this doesn't count the Retro Reviews, of course, which are repeats of blogs already reviewed, from the very beginning of this blog's existence.
I'm busy updating my external website with an index of all the blog reviews...how I wish I'd followed through on my plan to update it every week, as now I've got several months worth of reviews to transfer!
I've also transferred the titles of all the blogs I've reviewed into a spreadsheet, so I can start doing something I'd always planned to do, which was have "Summary Saturdays" and "Summary Sundays" when I'd provide a list of all the blogs I'd reviewed in a certain subject, like aviation, baseball, science, politics, travel, humor.
I'm also working on my first book review, which I intend to have ready here tomorrow.
So today is a day of work offline, so that this blog review blog returns tomorrow bigger, bolder and brigher!

How many blogs are available on Kindle?
Just checked out the Kindle Store, via the Kindle. (Usually I subscribe to blogs from my computer, so this is the first time I've seen this screen.) I don't know how current the numbers are, but this is what it has to say:
All blogs: - 9,145
Arts and entertainment - 2,465
Business and investing - 1,707
Humor and Satire - 1,102
Industry Focus - 1,306
Internet & technology - 2,593
Lifestyle & culture - 3,957
News, politics & opinion - 2,090
Regional and travel - 763
Science - 581
Sports - 742
So, this Kindle Blog review, or blog review blog as I wish I'd called it, has reviewed about 100 or so blogs to date. So we've got a long way to go!
Stay tuned!

Kindle Blog Review Blog Update
Apologies for the sparse posting in the last few days, we will get back on schedule to start posting at least 5 reviews a day come Monday, March 22.
We'll also be adding more pages - indexes to certain topics - baseball of course, other sports like NFL, NBA, aviation, science, women's issues, and so on, so that this blog review blog can be of the utmost use to our subscribers.

Baseball Blog Days
The Kindle Blog Report has dozens of blog reviews hanging fire from our associate, Ann Currie, however, I am going to spend the next two days reviewing baseball blogs, since we're getting into the baseball season and I want to review as many blogs as possible as people start searching for that extra info on their favorite teams.
Never fear, at least one blog on a different topic will be published each day as well!

The Kindle Blog Report is Always Evolving
Up until now, the Kindle Blog report has focused on blogs that are available for subscription via the Kindle. However, there are thousands more blogs out there that are not yet available on the Kindle, so if we see a particularly great blog out there, we'll recommend it here. (In other words, we won't review "bad" blogs that aren't on Kindle, but if there's a great blog that isn't on Kindle, we'll tell you about that.)
We've got so many great reviews here, and I'm behind on adding them all to the external index page. Hopefully I'll get that done before Wednesday of this week.
And as always, if you've got a blog you'd like reviewed, send us a line at Kindle Blog Report.

Sunday Summary
Each Sunday, I'll post a Sunday Summary in which I highlight my "top 10 blogs" of the past week that I've reviewed, and perhaps give some shout outs to some favorites from past weeks.
Other plans will be to publish a regular "Top 10" in a certain category...one a day, perhaps. "Top 10 of my favorite travel blogs," "Top 10 of my favorite science blogs", etc. Everything to bring as much exposure as possible to the blogs I've reviewed - that I've liked!
My plan for this Sunday is to complte at least 5 blog reviews in the following categories: Humor and Satire, Industry Focus, and News, Politics and Opinions. I want this done before tonight, because then all the columns on my two index category pages will have enough entries to make them look respectable, to any new visitor to the site!
Since this is a new blog, I want to get as many entries into the index as soon as possible, so that new readers to this blog, or those just stumbling over the index pages, would have a pretty good idea of what is going on here.
Once I've got the index looking more respectable, I'll slow down and instead of reviewing 15 blogs a day, stick with between 5 to 10. One post will deal with blogs in a specific category, the other will deal just with two or three blogs, from any category, that strike my fancy. In this way I hope to provide meaningful and useful content to just about everybody who is in search of worthy blogs in their particular area of interest.
Message for Bloggers:
As visitors today may have noticed, the Kindle Blog Report badge has been improved immeasurably, thanks to the help of a kind friend. Indeed, so far I've met a few people who have been generous with their time, assistance with various technical aspects, and their feedback, as regards this blog, and I appreciate it.
The goal of this blog is to highlight blogs from "real people" and "small businesses" as opposed to those from corporations. For that reason I won't be reviewing ESPN's sports blog, or Michelle Malkin or Bill O'Reilly's blogs, or Cracked! or things of that nature - they should have fans enough who know about their blogs already! (Of course, consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, but that is my plan at this time!)
If anyone has a blog they'd like me to review, drop me a line. Nocturne_CVS@Yahoo.com. My review will be a fair one. If I don't like your blog, I'll say so, but I'll provide enough information so that my readers can make up their own minds if they would like it.
If you would like to put a badge/link on your blog to show that you've been reviewed here, please do so. It will serve as a further advertisement for you that your blog is available for subscription via the Kindle. This is not mandatory. Nor need bloggers whom I'm reviewed, subscribe to this blog in return. (Though of course if you find it valuable, I hope you will.)
If anyone has any questions, comments or concerns, feel free to drop me a line.

Blogs You've Subscribed To Don't Update?
If you have subscribed to blogs on Kindle, and you can download books just fine but blogs never seem to update (and yet you have visited the blog's actual URL and know that it has been updated) you need to restart your Kindle, using the steps below:
Step-by-Step: Kindle System Restart
--Make sure your Kindle is well charged and on (and Wireless turned on (usually, you want your Wireless turned off to save the battery).
--Disconnect the Kindle from the USB or Power Adapter cable.
--Press the Home button on the right edge of the Kindle.
--From the Home screen, press the Menu button on the right edge of the Kindle.
--Select "Settings" from the Home Menu.
--From the Settings page, press the Menu button again.
--Select "Restart" from the Setting Menu.
--Wait a couple of minutes for your Kindle to Restart, then give your Kindle another few minutes to update files, blog posts, etc.
This solution is recommended on the Kindle Daily Nation , and it worked for me, because I was having this problem.
Of course my happiness now may be tempered tomorrow, if the blog doesn't update automatically. Most people don't have to do this...if some people have to restart their Kindle every time they want to update their blog subscriptions, I should think they'd get pretty annoyed - I would.
So hopefully this was a one time thing.
