I had a wel...I recently finished The Blue African. I had a well edited novel with few mistakes until my wife read it. I wrote about high tea and biscuits when I didn't know what high tea was and what the British would call scones I referred to as biscuits. Most of us just drink a cup of coffee and forget about it.<br /> Needless to say, because I didn't do my research; I had to reedit the novel. The moral of this story could be to do your research or to never marry an English teacher, they are sooo picky.
